I am passionate about the late Romantic period and the early 20th century self-taught Russian masters.
I get a tremendous thrill from taking beautiful music and reducing it to its essence, so that the full emotional theme can be played by musicians who are young, inexperienced, and rather like me - enthusiastic amateurs.
